Getting to Poznań

Poznań-Ławica Airport (POZ) is a small but well-connected airport, located just 15–20 minutes from the city center, with direct flights to many European cities.
If no direct flight is available, consider flying to Berlin-Brandenburg (BER) and taking a train or Flixbus to Poznań—there are multiple daily connections.
If you prefer traveling entirely by train, Poznań has good rail links from most of Europe via Berlin Hauptbahnhof.

Local Transport

  • From the city center, trams 2 or 18 toward Ogrody take you directly to the venue—get off at the final stop.
  • Public transport info: jakdojade.pl (also available as a mobile app).
  • Tram tickets can be purchased directly with a contactless card.
  • From the airport: Uber, Bolt, or licensed taxis (e.g., PST taxi: +48 618 519 519) are all reliable.
  • From the Poznań Główny train station: the venue is ~10 minutes by tram or ~30 minutes on foot.

Accommodation

Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. The venue is easily accessible from most central areas. For convenience, we recommend staying in or near the city center (Stare Miasto / Jeżyce districts), which provides good tram connections and access to restaurants, cafes, and historical sites.

Money & Payments

  • ATMs are widely available near the venue and in the city center.
  • Card payments are accepted everywhere, including in small shops and public transport.

Special Needs

If you have any dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, or other requirements (e.g., mobility assistance, childcare timing, sensory considerations), please let us know via the registration form or by email. We will do our best to accommodate all needs.

Documentation for Funding

We cannot offer travel or per diem reimbursement. However, we are happy to provide official documentation (e.g., certificate of attendance, formal invitation, confirmation of stay) for participants whose institutions support such funding.
